Below are the requirements to partake in the Martin Tuchman School of Management Doctorate Program. Admission to the Ph. program in Business Data Science is for the Fall semester only. The next admission season is Falland the application deadline is December 15, There is no admission available for Fall Prospective applicants are expected to have a strong quantitative background, some software development experience or computational skills, and a basic understanding of business principles.
Admission to this program is for the Fall semester only. The deadline is December 15 in the prior calendar year. As the admission is competitive, applicants are strongly advised to complete their applications before the deadline.
After the deadline, applications may be considered on a rolling basis subject to admission availability, though this is not guaranteed. Submitting an application does not guarantee admission. Students who are admitted to the program may be required to place a deposit to confirm their intent to enroll at NJIT. International students who are admitted to the program should contact Office of Global Initiatives for visa applications.
Please submit your application materials at NJIT's official application website. Official transcripts and proof of degree completion from all colleges and universities attended are required. The minimum admission requirement is a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. While a master's degree is not required, many applicants have a prior master's degree. The minimum admission requirements include a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, njit statement of purpose, engineering, mathematics and other relevant disciplines from a college or university accredited in the United States or its equivalents, njit statement of purpose, with a minimum overall GPA of 3, njit statement of purpose.
Either GMAT or GRE is required for the application. Test results must be sent directly from the test service agent to NJIT's Office of Graduate Admission. GMAT and GRE are valid for up to five years.
